Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

Hours are published for 4 days a week. Typical hours are 8 am–1 pm. It is closed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (407) 930-7007. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, lakeeoladental.com.

Orlando is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Orlando is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Dr bedside manner poor, girls in ofc were great, hygienist inexperienced & DDS is left handed hitting me in mouth with instrument in right hand, I guessed from that he was left handed, told him I had broken piece of extracted tooth stuck in my gum, he disregarded, did not listen & told me normal bone growth for my age. Looked at my chart and talked to his assistant about redoing cavities that had no business being touched there's nothing wrong with my cavities and of course my second opinion who I've seen in the past and trust explicitly Dr reshef mahtani told me there is nothing wrong with my amalgam fillings and my silver is in great condition. Dr Did not speak with me only barking stats about my mouth to assistant, he rushed me through my questions he cut me off and intimidated me to the point that I just wanted to get out of there after 3 hours including 2 hours for X-rays due to malfunctioning camera... Went to doctor Rashev Mehtani at Lk Lucerene Dentistry for second opinion who found stains built up, hardened plaque not removed and he was extremely disappointed in the condition of my mouth 4 Weeksafter 4/27/26 "cleaning" at Lk Eola. Dr M felt so bad about what I've been th

Caution ⚠️: I went to this dentist because it’s only a two-minute walk from my apartment. Everyone was friendly, and the office seemed thorough during my visit. However, I was told that I had three cavities, and they showed me the imaging as evidence. Something didn’t feel right, so I decided to get a completely independent second opinion from another dentist. They took new X-rays and performed a full examination, and they found no cavities at allβ€”either on the imaging or during the physical exam. If I had gone ahead with the treatment at Lake Eola Dental, I would have spent a few hundred dollars on fillings that, according to the second dentist, were unnecessary. Afterward, I looked through the reviews and found multiple people describing very similar experiences. That was very concerning to me. I encourage anyone considering this office to get a second opinion before agreeing to treatment, especially if you’re told you need multiple fillings.

This dentist told me I needed 10 fillings and 3 crowns. I was surprised because it had only been a year since my last cleaning and got a second opinion and learned I have zero cavities. While some dentists believe in "preventative drilling," Dr. Ho was not upfront that what he was recommending was merely "preventative." He was also misleading by showing me photos rather than x rays of my teeth while discussing my treatment plan - photos which showed stains but could not possibly show cavities. Completely inappropriate and untrustworthy. Do not go here and if you do, always get a second opinion.
